Gel Hand Sanitizers
Gel hand sanitizers are what most people think of when you think of hand sanitizer. The consistency is slightly thicker than a liquid hand sanitizer and these gels often contain a moisturizing agent. This ensure your hands don’t dry out even with continued use. PrintJet’s gel hand sanitizer is a 62% gel alcohol-based antiseptic (70% alcohol-based available upon request). Gel sanitizers tend to be the preferred choice for medical professionals.
Foam Hand Sanitizers
The main feature of foam hand sanitizers is that the foam clings to hands during application of the product; it does not easily slide off the hand. Foam hand sanitizers are commonly used in the education, commercial, and hospitality industries as they tend to be a less messy and more economical option.
Spray Hand Sanitizers
Spray hand sanitizers from PrintJet are 75% alcohol-based antiseptics that allow for complete control over the dosage of the hand sanitizer. Spray sanitizers tend to evaporate quickly and are not sticky on the hands.
Difference Between Gel, Foam, and Spray
The choice between gel, foam, and spray hand sanitizers tends to be a personal or professional preference as both contain the same antimicrobial properties. All three types of sanitizer are effective at germ control and preventing the spread of viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
